AT ALL.......
2 cashiers and no baggers, just self checks which can only handle 3 bags. The place is disgusting. Filthy bathrooms & store. I'll only go in for a item or 2. Don't buy anything "fresh" Sad cuz I used to work for Stop & Shop.
Also .... The seafood and meat corner is located in one... I don't think that is sanitary
1.Badly organized 2.There's never enough cashiers 3. The shopping carts are absolute shîte...many of them barely roll 4. There's never anyone that knows anything when you have a question 5. There ARE a few employees who you can truly tell care....but they're not given any credit for their efforts.
Used to work here. Prices are ridiculous, perishable returns are left out longer than they should be, most of the management is lousy, unhelpful and judgemental. The store has gotten even worse recently, one cashier working every day and the rest is self checkout. Absolutely jewery. Just because you don't want to pay your workers, you short staff your store? Nice. I go to big y instead. Only grocery store in Winsted and isn't even up to code. Water damage and leaks galore, oh just put a bucket under it. What?!?! Done.
